Caveat, it draws 0.24 aps for 80% of the time and 4.5Amps for 10%.ten second periods. We think it is breaking down.
The 4.5A will be when the magnetron is operating.
On older (non-inverter) microwaves, it's normal for them to cycle the magnetron on & off to provide the lower power settings.

We were going to buy a new one,until I turned this unit around to see what is should be and the label said 4.2A. Shrug, nothing wrong with it.
