One very good reason why I'd prefer to be writing about RPi *NOW* from RPi is that then I could *self-refer*. Every time you decide which-key-to-press, there's a potential error. OTOH, if you are 'in RPi' and using the mouse, you just *see* the 'object' and 'say' . emacs users may appreciate this?
Since I've got a copy of the-above script on this PC, I'll just paste it here, but users should try to appreciate the power of just being able to point at a 50-char-code and say instead of trying to type it.
ls ../ == shows me the parent dir: to be reminded of the script's name. ../V*2 == runs the *recognised* script, using minimal keys. The script's [OpenVT7-12] contents is: echo "Open Virtual Terminals 7,8,9,10,11,12" openvt openvt openvt openvt openvt openvt
Recognising is MASSIVELY easier than remembering. Obviously, my method causes me to mostly use VT12,11....7.
