NOOBS/Raspbian and recovery mode

Oct 23, 2014 0 Replies

I've just got my new B+ with a NOOBS SD card and I rushed into an install of just Raspbian.

I now think I might look at installing other options, possibly without destroying the Raspbian install (although I don't have more than an apt- get update/upgrade invested in it so far).

Now at reboot there is a graphic which says to press the shift key to go into restore mode. This is also reported on Internet fora. However I have rebooted several time holding down the shift key and I don't get any restore options. It just reboots back to Raspbian.

Any idea if this should work? If so, any idea what I am doing wrong?

Cheers
