Persistent menu on screen pop ups. This is the User Menu - (Input source
- set as Video Source)
Every now and then the darn thing pops up out of nowhere.
Any suggestions on what to do?

Take the batteries out of the remote and put it in another room. If the problem persists then look at the tact switches on the main pcb of the television....
It could be interference from a near by IR emitting device (florescent lights, motion detectors, computer IR ports,...). That era of Zenith was poor at rejecting other IR signals. Those sets would even respond to certain other remotes! Try blocking the IR sensor. Andy Cuffe
