I have a 1993 Magnavox Tv Model CS4742 Chassis 27Y100-00AA that started having problems when trying to shut off, it would oscillate faster and faster untill it finally shut off. I have not used it since untill recently and now I have no video at all. It has a dark raster with sound. I am trying to find a schematic for it (for free if at all possible_Iam cheap lol) or if Anyone can tell me which circuits or components to check. I am suspecting a filter cap in Power supply or HOT since I do have the familiar Hum/wave. The no video is recent as we have had power lines come down this past summer and tripped breakers in house and fried some computers. Any help would be appreaciated. The Tv was about4 years old when troubles began and has not been used in 8 years so i think it would be good to try and fix it.
