Television with redgreen and blue lines at the top of screen easy fix ??

Nothing wrong with the Tv but this. I think it was gradual as well. im giving the TV to a friend at work but would be better if it was picture perfect. Anything i can do to fix it myself adjust somthing.


Or any ideas on the cost to repair and if even worth it ??

/ps Is a 51cm flatish screen TV 10 years old or so.

Sounds like bad capacitors in the vertical deflection circuit. a relatively easy repair.
