i have a sony wega 25" tv. its picture tube has problems. the reapir man lowered heater resistor to give better color and after sometimes the power circuit has a burst and it now won't start. i want to separate and use its channel tuner. anybody know how much volt i have to give to power that section and where? thanks

You cannot separate the tuner unit and use it. There is also the IF module, and then the video and audio detector and processing. These circuits are all controlled with a microprocessor that follows a firmware program. The way it is designed, what you want to do is very complex and expensive. A simple solution is to buy a TV tuner receiver, or get a VCR to use as a TV tuner.
