This pc monitor has gone into shutdown due to horizontal/vertical deflection failure (or so the blinking led's tell me) but the manual also indicates it could be thermal protection? What components would typically make up a thermal protection circuit? Furthermore what exactly is the thermal protection protecting? Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated :D
