Like the subject says plug it in and push the power button and it tries to start about 4 times and then quits I have replaced the following : C4102 C4108 CR4118 and my standby volatage at Cr4116 is 146 and at cr4118 13.1 and when I try to power CR4116 doest change much maybe .5 volts and CR4118 goes to about 14 and then it resets and starts again about 4 times before it stops and the voltages go back to standby readings i can find no other visiable damage set started this problem it would come on and work fine but if you turned it off it would not start again Any help would be greatly app. Thanks Mike

The voltage on the collector is 146 while in standby and 150 when trying to power up Bad flyback? just guessing here Thanks Mike
That chassis uses the seperate HV divider off the 2nd anode lead. High failure item.
Remove the anode cap and disconnect the feed for the divider ...then see if it comes on .
If it does , shut it down.....
Originals are NLA.
Get them from Asti.

Jeff forgot to mention to ISOLATE that high voltage lead because if it does power up there will be about 30 kV on it. It'll either give you a hard on or make sure you don't get one for a while...

Thanks pulled cup off of tube and disconnected feed to what i thinks is called the focus block is that what you are calling the divider anyways still just clicks 4 times and then back to stand by. Thanks Again Mike

Here is a few things to check.
Check R4719, Q1914, R4713, R4704, C4141,C3124, Q3102 (SMD),
RCA CTC169 DEADSET BUT SOUNDS LIKE IT TRIES TO COME ON AND THEN SHUTS BACK DOWN.
CHECK/REPLACE T4401 FOR SHORT (OVER CURRENT)-UNSOLDER PIN 1 OF FLYBACK-PUT 100W. BULB FROM PIN 1'S SOURCE TO GROUND
RCA CTC169 SET SHUTSDOWN AT TURN ON AND TRIES TO START-UP (3) TIMES CHECK/REPLACE C4401
