RCA Big Screen Weird IR remote issue

I have a RCA Big Screen TV Model # P56927 and am having a weird Remote control issue. Sometimes the remote just stops working. I've tried a second universal remote to eliminate it from being the problem. I have found that if you jump on the floor in front of the tv (so it shakes a little) it will start working again. You can also make it go out by doing the same as well. I believe that the sensor in the tv is dirty and needs to be cleaned, but I'm not sure where it is??? Can anyone tell me where it is on this model so I can try and clean the lens, or if it's loose try and repair it. Thanks in advance

You most probably have bad solder connections or coolant is leaking onto the board. It looks like a CTC195 chassis... Best call in the TV Tech and get it estimated for repairs before you have NOTHING.

Admittedly slightly off the topic but still, weird problem with Remote Controller. On "Motor Homes" with 12 Volt flourescent lighting, the ~ 15Kc Inverter in the fixtures plays HELL with the IR Remote TX/RX Signal.

If one stands in front of the TV or vcr or satellite receiver and shades the IR signal receiver from the flourescent light or just turn the room light off, the Remote Controller will work normally. I guess the Flourescent light blinks very close to the Remote Controllers' Signal and drives the IR receiver "bannanas"

Cleaned ???? so when you jump on the floor the dirt falls of the sensor then jumps back on in a few minutes ?
