I recently bought a fixer-upper DV400D mini DV camera from ebay - probably a mistake. It had been severely (internally) abused. I managed to repair everything mechanical but a BGA sound processor chip on the main board remains elusive. Everything works but the sound when recording. Playback is fine.
If you have a broken pv-dv400D with good mainboard, email me! Also if you only use your 400D for playback, we could swap. thanks. Andrew
