I have a Mitsu 40505 40" Glass tube PIP that is in great shape and hasn't been used since I went HDTV I'd like to sell it to someone who would enjoy it I've done some research but can't find any recent sales and thought I'd see some advice on what a set like this might be worth I don't want to do teh auction route because this beast weigns about 300 lbs Thanks in advance BOb

Recently had someone decline a $300-350 repair (multiple capacitors) on one, because they didn't think the set was worth it.
I would expect it to bring around $300 used if everything works and the pciture looks 100%.
Hard to say, I'd guess probably $250-$350 though, those are pretty nice sets despite their age.
Has the PiP board been rebuilt? If not then that's a time bomb, but if it's not malfunctioning yet the capacitors may not have started leaking or at least not damaged the board too badly yet.
