My green gun in my Sony KP-53S15 is causing some problems with my color convergence. It looks like the picture coming out of the gun is warped in the top left, as if one of the surfaces it reflects from is scratched and smudged, with a distinct scratch within the image, and not on any of the lenses. Also at the bottom of the screen, the green color is warped down towards the bottom of the screen, causing a separation of the colors on the screen. Does anyone know of a cheaper way to fix this without purchasing a new gun?

Purchasing a new green CRT would probably not accomplish anything anyway. The probem is likely to be the convergence output circuitry, does this set use STK IC's? A bad convergence yoke is also a possibility.
