Look carefully, there are these cute little pictograms for each control. They show the picture moving sideways, up/down, shrinking, brightness, contrast, etc. Get an 8 yr old to figure it out for you. Some modern technology purposely makes us all feel hopeless...

Unless things have changed, you should be able to view or download the manual from IBM's website. You'll need the machine code ( looks something like 6524-U4N ). Enter the machine code into the website and documentation links should come up.
