try coating them with copper, in an copper sulfide solution or something... I am not a chemist so i don;t know the details.

With all those clips, you first MUST solder them. The crimps will fail very soon. They are bad enough out of water. Very loosly made.

Salt water? Good luck. I would just cover them in silicone grease.

Try coating them with grease. The contacts are under some pressure from the clip's springs, so the grease will be squeezed away from the contact point.

If the budget for your test can stand it you should be able to find some at a medical supply house.

Think you'll find stainless steel, silver plated, and even gold plated :)

There people may have what you want.

I cannot remember directly who supplies what you want. What you need are corrosion resistant alligator clips. Usually these are made from stainless steel, or any metal that is non corrosive.

I 'm doing some under water test but my alligator clips are rusting due to the fact that they are not coated with rust proof materials. Does anyone know which material to use to rust proof alligator clips (I purchased them from radio shack) The alligator clips are used to transmit voltage underwater but they rust after a day.

If I paint them with a rust proof material, the material will still have to be able to conduct electricity any ideas what i can use?
