Forgotten lock code with a WEST P8100 temperature controller

I can find any help about this in the manual. Is there a reset push button on the board, to recover a default code?

Will get you to the manual.

Page 35 of the manual will get you what you want.

It says "in the event that a lock code is forgotten press..." but the Cloc display they claim never shows up!

Press ^ & @ together *WHILST THE UNIT IS POWERING UP* until the CLoc display is shown. Once in this mode Press @ to step between lock modes.

(I suspect that the manual means that you will be holding the ^ and the @ through the power-up process, not momentarily.)

^ = Raise Key @ = Function Key

If there is another fault, you may have to read more in the manual. Page 32 does also show the default and entry modes for the locks.

Try 1234 or 9999 or 1111 or 0000?
