Patch for SDIO support

Jul 04, 2005 1 Replies

Hi,

I need to provide SDIO support in linux kernel 2.6.9. System has PXA255 processor with MMC controller which can communicate with MMC, SD or SDIO card. Is there any patch available for SDIO card support, if so where can I find it?

Thanks & Regards, Anita

Unfortunately, Linux doesn't have sdio support. I have found this issue almost mind boggling considering that sdio is the bus of most modern embedded personal computing devises. It's very clear that it's here to stay too. If there was any way to support development in this area (for somebody who is a linux user, work and home) I would. But for now all you have got is a few pay to play products out there. Companies like

produce linux sdio stacks but can't say much for or against them because I have no knowledge or experience with their products.

If anyone has any experience with current commercial sdio stacks on linux share some info. There are a lot of developers that need product suggestions, since we don't have an open option.

Have fun, Steven Buergin
