Good morning, Benjamin.

Depends on where in the world you are.

In the US, such jobs have become relatively few and far between, and what jobs there are are usually full time. There are ways you can find the few such jobs there are, but again we'd have to know where in the world you are.

Hi Eric,

First Thank you very much for your response. I also have to say sorry for missing some information. I am in toronto, and I'd just like to get some extra bucks by moonlighting to support the family. I am also not sure if there is any luck to get a part-time work from our southern neighbor.

thanks aga> >

I'm sorry to say I don't know anything about the market in Canada.

As far as how you find work, I've been consulting for over 30 years and I haven't figured the marketing part of it out yet. It's a lot of networking and cold calling and all that stuff that I'm no good at. Consequently, all of my work comes from either word of mouth from happy clients, or from agencies who specialize in placing contractors. The agency work is virtually exclusively full-time and usually on-site at the client location (although, after you get in there, you can often negotiate the on-site part). In addition, the agencies by and large tend to gouge the hell out of both the contractors and the clients. often charging the client a 50 percent markup or more, on top of the contractor's rate, for doing no more than putting contractor and client together and doing some minor administrative stuff like handling payroll.

There are sites like sologig.com that claim to be able to put contractor and client together for a lot less, but so far I'm not real impressed.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help...
