I'm looking for a device that I can put in-line with my tv cable to dis-connect/re-connect at will. I'd need a keypad for entering an access code. This is for a son who will not stop watching TV and start doing his homework.
Looking for acutal product or plans for one.

If the cable box uses a SIM card, remove it. If not, just have the TV (or cable box) re-wired to mains via a key-switch, no plugs.
