GPIB/SCPI Programming

Jun 15, 2006 2 Replies

I'm trying to use GPIB to control an Agilent 4156C semiconductor parameter analyzer and a Cascade Microtech S300 probe station. I'd like to program using VBA through Excel, but I don't know where to begin. Does anybody have an example of GPIB programming using Excel?

Thanks Andrew

Andrew:

Look on the web site

for information on GPIB programming.

I don't know if they have anything on Excel programming though.

You may need something like the Agilent "IO Libraries Suite 14.2"

This stuff seems expensive. I am not affiliated with Agilent in any way except I own and use their products.
