i want help in how to access the memory mapped registers of the can controller, through programming the PAR registers,
i successfully programmed a PAR register, i cannot access the CAN controller registers which are at certain offset from the base Adress that is programmed in the PAR register.

Is the CAN controller external to the Elan? Is it on the GPBus?
Hi Gary Yes the Can controller is external to the ELAN and It is on GPBUS and it is mapped to the memory region. so please help me how to acess and program it in Real Mode and protected mode. thanks in adveance with regards sulaiman
