High temperature RF transceiver

Apr 30, 2004 1 Replies

Hello.

Does anybody know if such a beast exists? I have been looking for any VHF/UHF transceiver with a -40 - +125ºC (or even +105ºC) temp range without luck. There seems to be automotive temperature RF

*transmitters* (Chipcon, Melexis, etc.) but no automotive temperature transceivers...

Any help much appreciated.

Warmest regards.

Hello Pablo,

Check the TI TRF series. The problem may be the upper end which they usually spec at 85C. Maybe they have special versions that can go higher, just write to them. But I'd bet it will get expensive if they had any.
