I am a complete newbie to PICs so for anyone getting started, there may be some useful information. Most of the tutorials or demos I've looked at assume a basic knowledge about PICs or at least other types of micro-controllers. I found it frustrating trying to climb up the "assumed" knowledge learning curve. So hopefully this site can help others make the trip with less irritation.
