Bluetooth module for audio xfer ?

Oct 23, 2007 1 Replies

Hi All - Anybody have a recommendation for a ready-to-go Bluetooth module to connect audio bi-directional to an earpiece or headset ? I've already got the audio streams and I want to replace a profusion of speakers and cables. I don't want to add the protocol stack to the embedded controller, just need a ready-to-go "base station" module with audio input and output.

Google turns up bluegiga's wt32.

Any other options suggested or experiences welcome ! Thanks in advance, Best Regards, Dave "YO"

You may want to look at NSCs LMX9830. I do not yet know it in great detail, but it does have some audio block inside. There is not much to implement as far as protocols go, the firmware on the part does that - one talks to it pretty much like to a modem, although the command set is quite different.
