Først i 2008 kunne man beregne helium atomet nogenlunde kvantemekanisk.

Blacklightpower er et firma baseret på ejerens "teori" at der findes elektrontilstande der ligger under den hidtil antaget laveste, som er nr. 1. Han påstår at der findes også niveauer 1/2, 1/3, 1/4,... og han kan trække energi ud af fald ned i disse kælderniveauer. Han har endda skrevet en bog om alt dette, som fysiker griner ad. Manden er unddannet læge. Men det kan godt være han tjener penge med det, fra investorer. "There's a sucker born every minute".
