#I am new at posting to Google groups #so would you care to elaborate. #Regards, David.

First, it's NOT an email message. Please respond in the group--not via email.

Hold onto your hat. This is going to shock you. THIS IS **NOT** GOOGLE GROUPS; this is USENET. Google Groups is but *one* way of accessing USENET

--many will say an *inferior* way.[1]

When you are at someone else's computer

--someone who uses a newsreader to access Usenet-- have him show you how it looks. Most folks DON'T SEE USENET THE WAY YOU SEE IT (on Google).

That said: No you don't have to do anything this time. . . #[Zero] for 2, not sure what you mean by that. #

1) Not marking an ad as an ad. 2) Multi-posting

Actually, it's worse than that [2]; here's the big one:

3) Posting an ad to a group where commercial ads are not welcome. http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:UkDUQGrgwUEJ:

If you had gotten 1 and 2 right, many folks would forgive a one-time personal ad. The way you did it makes you look clueless and some folks may "plonk" you.

. . [1] The way Google *archives* Usenet posts in perpetuity is its big advantage [2] Replying via email is yet another breach.
