** Lazy as Shit Google Groper alert !

** Try Google for the PIC16C505 - it is just waiting for you.
** Might it really be the TLE4207G ??

If so - do as above.

I'm glad your education has reached the point where you can ask for help. That's a step forward.

Now you may wish to learn how to actually find the information yourself. But, as this is the final year of your education and you've only gotten far enough to learn to ask for help, I have little confidence your curriculum will get to that point. So...

If you're completely up in the air about a part, Google is your friend. Find out who manufactures the IC.

Now go to that manufacturer's website. Find the datasheet for the parts.

Enjoy. By the way, what school do you attend?

Sometimes I think that this is crazy! How can somebody configure a mail server or to read groups from Google groups (like me) and cannot do the

part, Enter.

I'm really delighted:)

None of this is true. Both parts are preprogrammed and someone wants the function, posing as a student

Thanks for all the information. My very first message to a public group has taught me a lot more than I expected!!!!!!!!!

and type the IC names directly. I bet you will get millions of matching results.

You don't have to come to these supposedly-meant-for-experts-where-freshers-are-unwelcome forums and hear these 20%-facts-coated-with-80%-crap replies, unless you really have no choice (-> if no Google matching results are returned or if your question is not as simple as Googling something). These days, most forums are abused by people who know too much and have too much time to ridicule those who don't!!!

Good luck!

No, in news:sci.electronics.basics, we do not ridicule those who have beginner questions.

However, we do get a little bit impatient with google-groupies who come charging in, guns blazing, dispensing insults.

Good Luck! Rich
