salve a tutti, secondo voi per un computer server-oriented =E8 pi=F9 indicato un processore pentium III 667MHZ con bus a 133mhz e cache L2 di 256kb o un celeron 1.3GHZ bus 100mhz cache L2 256kb? Va bene che la frequenza di clock =E8 pi=F9 alta nel celeron per=F2 il bus... (che forse conta pi=F9 quello in un server)
Mmm... Prova a fare qualche bench e vedi quale ti spara più FLOPS e MIPS. Però è solo sintetico. Cmq il gruppo giusto per questo tipo di domande è: it.comp.hardware .

La parola d'ordine è: dipende da cosa ci fai girare sul server. Se devi effettuare dei rendere LAN con 3D Studio non ti basta un opteron. Se devi fare un server web, basta un 486 e linux. Ti aiutano di più su it.comp.hardware o it.comp.hardware.cpu
