Using digital probes with analogue scopes?

I mean using probes that are recommended and sold with digital scopes, for analogue scopes of the same or less stated bandwidth as the 'digital' probe in question. Any problems with that?

No problem, as long as you are still able to compensate (seeing neither undershoot nor overshoot at the edges of a square wave) the probe with the scope of your choice. Also, you might need to measure and calibrate the actual dc attenuation of the combination probe + scope.
