Tiny wire-to-PCB connectors

I'm looking for really small wire-to-board connectors - about 1.0mm pitch, 3-contact.

I've found

- they offer down to 0.8mm pitch in IDC style (important to avoid tooling costs), and they even have a harness assembly service. Pretty much exactly what I'm after, and samples have been ordered.

Before I commit to this option, who else makes a connector system this small? And if it's crimp-style how would I find harness shops that already have tooling for it? (I've scoured 200+ pages of Digi-key's connectors, and it's nearly all 2.54mm pitch and above.)

Thanks, Richard

Harwin make a good range of fine pitch connectors. Download the Ultrafine pitch catalog from this page

(it is pretty slow).

I suggest the M30 range (1.25mm pitch) should be suitable for your needs in either smt or thru hole. You can also locate a Harwin distributor on the site and hopefully find out tooling requirements.

Thanks, Ross. This does look like a good fit.

Cheers, Richard
