But latching relays would no longer have infinite gain!

Sure they would (recent discussions of what "infinite" means are hereby inc orporated by reference). You either put the LED in a bridge rectifier wired acros the coil, so that it blinks when the relay changes state, or else yo u redefine it to be part of the load. ;)

Not actually correct. He gets stuff wrong more than most, but - unlike krw - has been known to recognise some of his mistakes.

Another over-generalisation - but krw's brain isn't up to anything complicated.

The public values oratory and lying talent over the prospect of sound management skills. Which is why we got Obama instead of Romney, and Bubba instead of Bush I.

p. The whole point is that the people who the Republican Party imagined to be their annointed candidates for the nomination aren't nearly as attractiv e to right wing voters as Donald Trump. He regularly contradicts himself, s ays amazingly stupid things, and is still more attractive than Jeb Bush, Te d Cruz and Marco Rubio.

o nobody's benefit (except perhaps Haliburton's). Dubbya is in the running for the worst president that the USA has ever had. If you think anything el se it's your pants that are down around your ankles.

- as a candidate. Republican voters may be silly enough to vote for Trump as a candidate for the presidency, but they weren't silly enough to vote fo r Jeb Bush. Once bitten, twice shy.

running for office required him to speak about tough topics.

Obama is a better orator than Romney - and pretty much everybody else in US politics. That's not what won him the election.

His election campaign team were able to highlight Romney's past as vulture capitalist, with electorate-specific lists of companies Romney had down-siz ed, putting people out of work in the process. Carl Rove must have been env ious - character assassination without any lying.

Republican groupies think that any Republican politician has "sound managem ent skills" when most of them have never managed anything except an electio n campaign. John Larkin seems to believe everything he reads in the Murdoch media, so he won't have noticed.
