Looks like he claims to have RE-invented it.

It also looks like he's a proponent of the dreaded "burp" or pulse charging of Nicads. Has this ever been proven to be effective?

I don't know, but if you look at his company's rather large product line

he should have the ability to prove it one way or the other.

He does get kudos from me for having a not-too-horribly-flashy web site and having a decent amount of technical information available on it.

No. He'd have to be much, much older. ;-)

Although, it does seem he marketed one. No big deal - they were selling for about two bucks in 1955 or so. ;-)

Cheers! Rich

What do you mean about "not-too-horribly-flashy web site"? His home page uses Flash as a navigation aid!. That's a bozo no-no in my book.
