"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." -- Thomas Jefferson

Archie > I'll bet that you are still afraid of that suit, kook.

G > What does Jefferson's quote have to do with your G > delusion of a KOOK suit, Archie?

MAT > The blood matches his red high heels.

Do you think of me as a patriot or tyrant, Archie?

How does Jefferson's quote have anything to do with your bogus threat of law suit Archie?

Here's some of the stuff they will try to use:

"Among arguments that could be made in Loughner's defense is that, if not insane, Loughner was mentally impaired. That argument concedes that a defendant bears some responsibility for what he has done but lacks the guilt necessary to face the death penalty. The compromised state of mind sometimes is referred to as "diminished capacity."

Which means, the guy really didn't understand what he did, and so we will support him for the next 30 years or more while he tries to change his ways, and possibly get out early and do it again.

If this kid is in his early 20's, he was probably weaned on first- person shooter video games. I've often thought there would be a market for such games, in which, when your player is shot, you get a strong electrical shock or some other punishment.

Or perhaps more safely: You give the player loads of "lifetime" to get the kid really hooked on the game, and then, when the player eventually "dies", the game goes kaput! The player is dead, so the game is too. Permanently.

If you price it right, parents might be enticed to buy it just to teach their kids some valuable lessons. Just a thought....

Why not just blow up the idiot's game console? :)

You can't fix stupid. You can't even put a band-aid on it, because it's

But would he still get his picture in the paper if the console blows up? All this terrorist stuff is just a stepping stone to fame in the news. It's kind of like, "look what I did" and you can do the same. Just go out and shoot little kids and get your picture in the paper. The New York Times will help you out.
