Hi people, I want to know some practical ways of reducing the carrier frequency of basic RF transceivers. There are very few RF transceivers which operate at HF frequency range (40Mhz). So basically instead of the 300Mhz FSK output of transceiver, I want to downconverter it to
40Mhz, how should I go about this ? All I can think of is using a varacter diode with the VCO, but will using a mixer/downconverter IC work ?Thanks, David
