Jim seems to have forgotten "weapons of mass destruction" and "Nigerian uranium".
There's also the point that Hillary was probably deluding herself - every time she told that story over the past decade, it probably got a little more dramatic - that's how story tellers work - and it's only now, when she was working herself into the ground on the campaign trail, that she started telling the story to sceptical audiences, and got to realise how she'd blown up a moment of anxiety into a life- threatening situation.
And give her credit for realising what she'd be up to and apologising.
Dubbya still acts as if he still believes in weapons of mass destruction and Nigerian yellow-cake - but then again, so does Jim.
