Stop displaying your ignorance. Regression is standard simulation specific terminology referring to calibration of various constants and possibly methodologies to reconcile the differences between the simulator output and test bench measurements (in this case).

I know what "regression" is, dingbat. I've had far more courses in mathematics than you have.

But anyone who uses the word, "methodologies" must have a mother who wears hip boots ;-)

(***) I call that "fudge factor".

Regression implies ignorance ;-)

In human resources, any terminology is fair game.

Of course you have, your kind needs to be held by the hand and spoon-fed every little thing:-) I prefer to stay out of the class room, it's just too uncomfortable what with me sitting there being lectured to by an increasingly nervous person fudging expertise where none really exists...

You "prefer" to BS rather than show us all what your accomplishments have been. And you're anonymous, thus you're nobody.

I "prefer" and enjoy being a nobody, and there are lots of us nobodies around, we dominate and shape this society.

You do neither, because you have no real choices and, even if you had original desires, no real power to enact them. You are programmed in great things and small.

That's a bunch of nonsense, all of the markets, making this place go, cater to nobodies...

I was discussing that with my older daughter, the (now tenured!) biologist and certified BMW motorcycle mechanic. We agree that most people are natural followers, evolved in a tribal setting where one charismatic leader was responsible for the group's actions. A hierarchal organization is optimum to group survival.
