I sold my 42,000 sf renovated mill on the Charles River in Newton for $1.2M, a big loss for me, nine years ago. :-(

Well, sure. That's all they know how to do. It's self-reinforcing.

Yeah, this is scairy as hell. Now we have to keep the buisiness rolling in to pay all the bills. It's a lot easier, in many respects, to work for someone else and let them worry about the money.

Picturesque, but I intend to leave my business to my employees, if I can find any that seem able to handle it. I'd be stupid to do anything else.

It just seems like that to you because you\'ve got all the

Oh, the family will do fine.

But if the business is to survive, somebody has to run it, somebody who understands electronics and customers and business and marketing. My girls have other interests.

I suppose I might be able to sell it, but that wouldn't be as much fun. I'd rather, like other old farts I know, keep a desk and keep designing stuff or tinkering, even if I elect to turn over the majority ownership to others.

This mortality stuff is a nuisance.

I used to work for Bliss. Jim remindes me a lot of him. He used to brag about how much he'd forgotten about the business.

You're almost as much of an idiot as newturd.

There was a schematic posted last week about a motor controller, and there were some questions.

I posted a photo of the end of a motor that had a chopper wheel on it. wrong again, you are.
