A justice dept employee call Rep. Issa, "trying to orchestrate the leak of committee documents related to the ongoing IRS investigation", he thought he had called Rep Cummings.

You really have to try hard to do that. And have to have a poker face to claim it's difficult to recover...

In a patent issue a few years back my patent attorney wanted all my E-mails concerning a certain client all the way back to 2001.

A couple of clicks and I have transferred copies to a separate directory, zipped them up and still had to burn a DVD, there were so many ;-) ...Jim Thompson

You can easily have thousands of pages of scanned documents in a patent case. The other side doesn't give you stuff in softcopy because (a) official reason: it's too easily modified, and (b) real reason: it's not in their interest to make your life easier.
