OT: Riddle for the genius minds here

Bill Bowden disgraced "sci.electronics.design" on Sat, 30 Apr 2011

It was a jab at his girth, implying that his food bill was $50,000. Maybe the bill also includes a side-order of Oxycontin?

Not funny if I have to explain it! Sorry...

I doubt Rush Limbaugh dines out alone at a table for one. He probably treats 100 others to dinner and picks up the whole tab and tip. That could easily be $50 a head at a 5 star restaurant.

Crap. List time (maybe ten years ago) I was at a Ruths Chris Steakhouse, one of the dives he used to advertise, a al la cart steak is $45. Add $8 for a potato, $8 for vegetable, $12 for a salad, and $12 for a glass of wine, and it doesn't take 100 people.

You're clearly dumb enough to try to pass that lie off, however few here are dumb enough to buy it.

Do you know what the word means? I doubt it. You've proven your intelligence here.

So what? That order has been standing for almost a decade.

Around here we have the "White House" a 5 star pasta place. Average fare is $31 to $50. Highest price I see is the Romeo & Juliet Filet Mignon at $41.95 for a 10 ounce. But I usually eat at the "Home Town Buffet". All you can eat for $7 at lunch. And I usually put a couple pieces of chicken in my pocket when I leave.

For a "pasta place" we have Aricia's, in the University Hotel. It's about that sort of price (no ridiculous filets), but very good. We go there for special occasions. The last time was for my wife's birthday, a few weeks ago. They have a very good breakfast buffet, too, but it's getting too pricey ($35 a seat for Mother's Day).

We have a Golden Coral a couple of miles from our house, but we rarely go there. The food is very plentiful, but they make up for it in quality.

You're the one judging my political views in a few posts. None of which really provided much to go on. That's what an ass looks like.
