There are plenty of ink jet based printers from most major makers that feature "straight paper path" ability.

Use a conductive epoxy, which would subsequently require a thermal cure. Yes, it would be rigid. Unless you modify the cure or two part mix.

What is photo grade ink? Vendor and part number of ink that YOU have personally verified to work? "Might do the job" often isn't a helpful suggestion.

I never had the need to use it,but most Canon and Epson printer ads laud "photo quality" and seem to sell paper and ink to support their hype.

Maybe try Canon PGI-9 Pigment Photo Black with overlay of PGI-9 Clear as a protective coating (both used in their PIXMA PRO9500 Mark II).

I was discussing with a friend about his new laser cutter.

He has taken a clean PCB, spray painted it with black paint (matt finish).

He then cuts out the negative of the circuit on the pcb, the paint flakes off after heating.

Etch as normal.

He has been getting some .010 line with .015 spaces with a little work.

Controlling the power of the laser and the thickness of the spray paint is the challenge.

I have seem some small xy tables with a blueray laser for cutting paper.

I wonder if this will work on paint ?

Can you get more details about what type of paint he's using? It sounds interesting.

Sounds like a good way to blind yourself.

I'd be concerned about the high reflectivity of copper at the wavelenght of the usual CO2 laser
