I am trying to repair a circuit board for a solenoid valve manifold. It has
8 24V solenoids (1.3K ohm coils) on the manifold and a circuit board distributes the signals from a 26 pin connector. One common connected to the negative side of all the solenoids loops around the board. The components in question connect the ends of the loop to the common connector pin. They have axial leads with a spherical body about 1/8" in diameter. One of these components is toast. The good one is light grey ceramic looking material with one end painted red. There are no other markings. The red end of the good one goes to the connector. The red (now dark Grey) end of the toasted one goes towards the solenoids.Anyone have a suggestion as to what they might be?
