I've thought a version of a Maico Mobil with some sort of stability control would make motorcycle driving safer and more pleasant under a broader set of environmental conditions.

I'm not a fan of the art deco styling, but that could be updated. Modern materials would make for a lighter curb weight as well.

There's no defense against idiot car drivers.

It's very hilly here. It doesn't rain all summer. First couple of rains in autumn, the streets are super slick. Cars can't stop on the downhills. Bicycles and motorbikes fall over.

Cute.

We'll have to add traction control to the stability control.

If the streets are steep enough and slick enough, there's nothing to be done.

One street near us has a 43% peak slope. I suspect it's dicey in the rain.
