Thanks, I'll take a look, but these are not the typical glass audio tubes. They are mainly RF power tubes, with dissipations from a few hundred Watts to 200 kW. The number following the 3CV, 4CX, 4CW etc is the approximate dissipation in Watts. So 3CV30,000A3 has an anode dissipation of about 30 kW.

Eimac power tubes, intended for RF even up to microwave? I don't think so. An old Eimac catalog is bound to have info.

Where did you get the word "microwave" from - I never said it.

But some RF power tubes are good for microwave.

e.g.

(frequency of maximum ratings is 3 GHz for both tubes, but often used beyond that)

There are several more powerful ones that go to 1 GHz, which is often considered the start of microwave.

There are lots of 1-page summaries online at the Eimac web site

or as you say in old catalogues. But I'm looking for *complete* data sheets, which are not so easy to obtain.

I've looked at Franks before and he does not tend to have many of the larger tubes.

checked TDSL for about 10 of the tubes listed but not one of them returned an Eimac data sheet. Some have Svetlana ones, but they are readily available from numerous sources since they were distributed in PDF format.

As far as I know, Eimac have never distributed the data sheets in PDF format, so one tends to have to rely on someone scanning them.

Have you contacted Richarson Electronics?

I understand that but you may find some ppl there who'll have the right contacts.
