I'm working on a design where the 0.1" standard IDC connectors are too large. So I thought of the 0.050" (127mm) connectors.
The thing is that I need some cable mount headers and these seem to only be available in 0.1".
Essentially I need this: in 0.05" spacing.
The closest I found was this: which would do even without the shroud, but I can't get a small quantity of them.
Samtec and JST are my usual go-to manufacturers for fine pitch stuff but, of course, you'll probably want to poke around a bit.
Ribbon cable required? JST's PH and PHD are inexpensive and used in a lot of applications.
FCI?
I think 3M also has a series, but I dont recall then name at the moment.
