Ik ben de oorzaak van de opwarming van de aarde (I am the cause of global warming)

Dutch:

Hallo,

English Translation for you english bastards:

I always let the window open for fresh air !

And then the heating goes crazy !

Who the f*ck makes such stupid heating devices !

I propose to implement sensors into the windows.

So that when the window is open the heating goes out, or on low setting !

THE WORLD IS AT STAKE, WE MUST ACT AND HELP OURSELVES TO PREVENT OURSELFES FROM GLOBAL DESTRUCTION =D

Doei, Skybuck.

Best way to protect the world is to pull the plug on your computer. That will help greatly!

You are preaching to wrong audience. This group includes a vocal minority who think that Al Gore is a lying fraud who recently jumped on the Global Warming bandwaggon.

They don't know that Al Gore wrote "Earth in the Balance" back in 1991 (ISBN 978-1-84407-484-6) - it was published in January 1992 - which is pretty much "An Inconvenient Truth" in book form, give or take a few minor details. The longest ice-core available in 1991 only went back

160,000 years, and back then people were more worried about the chance that the Gulf Stream might turn off than they are now.

Since he got undergraduate lectures from Roger Revelle, who seems to have been the first person to get serious about measuring atmospheric CO2 levels, Gore does seem to have been exposed to the problem fairly early on.

The world is complex, CO2 is just one part of the equation :)

Bye, Skybuck :)

Yes, if you open a bottle beer, you get CO2 and even if you burb ;-)

equation :)

The carbon dioxide in a beer bottle is only about a quarter of the CO2 released when the beer was made, and you release even more CO2 as you metabolise the ethanol content, but no more than if you were metabolising something else to stay alive.

When you burp or release intestinal gases in other ways you emit more nitrogen than anything else

but the methane content can be more significant than the carbon dioxide, because methane is a much more potent (if shorter-lived) greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.

je moet ook geen scheten laten, want dat bevordergt de uitstoot van CO2

But now the 20 dollar question.. What is the average percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere?

Anyone?
