"...to fit the time of year"? Isn't this supposed to be the time of the year where everyone is happy...

Considering the list of morons who've won it, why not?

So you are including Al Gore,Barack Obama,Jimmy Carter with morons? Wait I take that back, how do I recall a post.

Oooops!

I can hear the canned ricochet sound bouncing off the boulder!

Possibly the pagan festival was invented because people don't tend to feel very happy at this time of year. Deaths peak in December, January and February, so there tends to be bad anniversaries too. The retail crush and stress just adds to it.

Quite contrary of her.

And the European Union.

Gore, who is a fraud; Obama, don't get me started; Henry Kissenger, who was all about Henry Kissenger; Le Duc Tho who brought the Communist reign of terror to South Vietnam; Rigoberta Menchu, who is also a fraud; Yasser Arafat, who was a terrorist; Willy Brandt for kissing up to the Soviets; and a host of others.

There are certainly good ones as well, e.g. Anwar Sadat, Lech Walesa, and Mother Teresa, but the peace prize quality level is nowhere near that of the scientific prizes.

Cheers

You won't do any damage if you hit them between the eyes. That space is 'for rent' in Liberals.

They should have taken STUPID, and turned it into a protected class.

Thompson goes to a tourist shooting range, rents the gear, bangs off a few shots under careful supervision, hits something at 30 feet, and buys the tee shirt.

He grew up in Appalachia where kids used guns at an early age. I was using a 22 rifle at 10, and had no problems on the range with various weapons. The instructors hated having to deal with people who already knew how to shoot. I qualified with a defective M16. The rifling was completely gone, yet I could out shoot my instructor. He emptied several 20 round magazines on the popup targets without hitting anything. I only missed the first two targets while I found the problem, and how to work around it. A half dozen shots took out two targets, from the excessive spin so I actually made more points than I had rounds. he about shiot his pants when the 25M and 75M targets both went down, then just stared when I did it five more times. FYI, you are supposed to hit the closest target when two pop at the same time.

Down in Louisiana, we used to shoot pecans out of trees with a .22. You try to hit the stem, of course, so you don't damage the pecan.

There's nothing fraudulent about Al Gore. He's been listening to - and understanding - good advice throughout his career. He got sold on anthropogenic global warming as an undergraduate - he got his first year chemistry lectures from one of the early pioneers - and he maintained an educated, if not all that sophisticated, interest from then on.

He's a politician, but here, as with the internet legislation, he's been a useful politician. We should value these rare events.

Compare and contrast with Jim Inhofe, who's a bought and paid for source of misinformation.

As if the average right-wing brain hasn't been rented out - cheap - to a load of particularly dumb propaganda. It's no longer for rent because right-wing nitwits make up their minds early - and badly - as proceed to act as if the idea of adjusting your opinions to fit a changing world was something immoral.

Bill Sloman, Sydney Bill, are you drinking again? You are slurring your words.

where my oldest son is a member; and I shot my son's personally owned weapons. He holds a Arizona-issued concealed-carry permit.

Larkin should try hitting the target on EVERY shot from thirty feet away with a one-hand-held pistol. I did. And I hadn't held a gun in my hand in 50+ years. The target for the AR15 was 300 yards away, but trivial to hit with such a superb instrument as the AR15 with a laser-assisted 'scope.

How about a duel, Larkin, you yellow-bellied BU pimp. You do agree that, if I "win", your will is null and void, and I own your company ?>:-} ...Jim Thompson
