Best of the comments:
"it is possible that the American media is too far to the right by his standards, meaning he is nearing going off the scale on the left. scary thought."
Couldn't have said it better myself.

My irony meter just pegged.
Jim-out-of-touch-with-reality-Thompson doesn't know much, and a lot of what he thinks he knows ain't so. Paul Schoen has some funny ideas, but he knows a whole lot more than Jim Thompson -as does practically everybody who posts here, with the possible exception of krw. who doesn't know anything more than which of the right-wing nitwits he wants to agree with.

I second that observation.
What is it that you are seconding? That you're ignorant ?>:-} ...Jim Thompson

Yes, I like to think outside the box, and some ideas may be oddball, but my mind is open to learning and assimilating new information and sometimes just trying something even if it goes against conventional thinking. If Jim can call that ignorance, it is only because he believes he already knows it all, even when that obviously is not the case. It is even more disturbing when he naively accepts the propaganda of the far right-wing-nutters, and dismisses any evidence to the contrary. I wonder about his mental and emotional stability when he resorts to childish ad-hominem attacks and insinuations, and babbles about his fantasies of using firearms to enforce his delusions. Perhaps he does not know or care that I was captain of the Johns Hopkins
University rifle team and I received expert certification on the M-14.

How close can you hit:
Perhaps that doesn't impress anyone, except someone like you.
There is a huge difference between firing on a range, and crawling through mud or being in heavy brush while people are shooting back. neatness and range rules don't count. I qualified with the M16, M50 & fired the M72. I'll put any of them up against anyone who only did completion style shooting.
Easy! It's a clear shot from Desert Foothills Park. Less than 1000 ft. Nice vantage point from the buildings, trees, or light towers of the ballpark. I also qualified with the RPG and LAW. And I have a friend who lives a few
miles N of Chandler Blvd on Straford Drive. I could visit him after I neutralized the target...
Paul
No, but what I presume is your attempt at some sort of 'humor' makes me wonder if you've lost your mind.
Tom's post that delusional insanity is not 'equivalent' to ignorance is right spot on.
Or, to 'explain' it for those who might not be able to deduce the connection, RFK Jr.'s comments about 'right wing control of the media' are not from ignorance but, assuming he actually 'believes' it, are delusional.
His own alleged 'facts' say so. For example, he laments that "22%" of those surveyed say their primary (note, not sole) news source is Fox News... but that means it's not for 78%. Now, never mind that there are numerous competitors so you are talking about people CHOSING to watch this or that, you really do have to be some kind of 'nut' to believe 22% amounts to "control of the media."
Such a dufus

Perhaps, but I'd still bet on him rather than Jim, who doesn't strike me as being likely to excel at crawling through mud or thick brush.

Paul forgets this post of mine...
Six shots each, from a Glock 9mm and an S&W BG380 (which I like best, it's lighter and fits my hand better).
Range: 30'
Standing, one-handed, ear-plugs.
I'll now sign up for the training class and get my CCW certificate.
I also fired an AR15 using various ammo types... what a marvelous instrument... I could shoot a liberal at 300 yards and put it right between their eyes... but that's cheating, what with the outstanding scope plus laser "mark"... I need to practice on a moving target to make it more "sporting" ;-) ...Jim Thompson

They asked Jim how he could gun down their fleeing wives and children and he said "That's easy, just don't lead by as much".

300 yards is not 30 feet. "Right between their eyes" (juvenile, or more likely senile violence fantasy) at 300 yards requires about 0.02 degree accuracy, basically impossible for a shaky old geezer, laser or not.
Weird obsessions, farts and murder.

Now! Now! Spehro! Have you joined the fruits who assume my distaste for leftists extends to killing women and children ?:-( ...Jim Thompson

Liberal women and children. ;-)
Just a little macabre humor to fit the time of year.

Being good with a weapon isn't just a matter of accuracy. It's about being prepared, when the need arises, without hesitation, to kill.

Mighty compassionate of you to spare the women and children in your homicidal ethnic cleansing spree. Gosh, darn, you might even get a Nobel Peace Prize nomination out of it.
