No particular reason, it just felt right.

Poor choice of plonkee - it suggests that you are a plonker.

ISTR that Genome plonked himself a couple of months ago

Martin

I remember it like yesterday.

How well do you remember yesterday, though?

That would have been Tuesday, I had to check in the fridge for two pints of milk and remembered I finished Fridays off today morning and picking one up off the doorstep today.

So it's Thursday tomorrow and I'll have to stick an empty one out with a fiver in an envelope for when the milkman comes around and I am in bed sometime in the afternoon.

I didn't do much yesterday...... oooh other than re-edit stuff and upload it to my whatchamacallit. That'll be it, I spent yesterday sober.

In the meantime that sounds like a good starting point for a discussion about doorstep milk delivery and the containers used for it.

Bonus!

I'm short of a couple of fridays, do you have a spare one ore two that you could send/email me?

Martin

Do they still deliver milk Over There, wherever you are? Nobody does that in the USA any more, to my knowledge.

My dad was a milkman. He used to take me out with him sometimes, starting around 4 AM, just to convince me that I never wanted to have a real job when I grew up.

Fridays is Phone Mum Day.

If you haven't got one left, I'm quite empathic about this stuff having had Dad pop his cloggs, then I won't give you her phone number coz it would wierd her out. She's not too good with knob jokes over the phone. More into weather, food and clean clothes.

Anyway getting a couple of Fridays is easy. All you have to do is misspell the first bit.

Here you go..... Propah spelling.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday

Becomes

Friday Friday Friday Friday Friday Friday Friday

That's five extra just in case.

When I was a kid the milkman WAS diddling the next door neighbor ;-)

Mind you some 'Robin' with a Big Thumb has snaffled a bit..

Delivered by the local CO-OP on battery driven floats. Full Fat and 6 pence over the odds from the local store. But comes in glass and they take returns.

You might think it's quaint but you would not mess with the men from the CO-OP.

One can go blind doing that I'm told.
