So from that I get that while they are calling it a neutron bomb. It is not really a pure neutron type of bomb where there is no heat or pressure wave to damage buildings and such but just to kill the living.

Those are just low yeald bombs that have a high radiation output. There is not even that much radiation to kill living things over a very large area compaired to the blast damage.
