Ok. What program are YOU using to view the PDF? So far, nobody has been able to view the 3D PDF. No fair viewing it in the SolidEdge CAD program.

I posted a link to the adobe site regarding 3D pdf use, and I use adobe, and your declaration is false. Several folks have been able to view it.
And, brainiac, once one generates a pdf output from a CAD package, one no longer uses the CAD package to view that file. That was the entire intent of producing the alternate output.
The file is fine.
Yep: Go to Edit > Preferences > 3D & Multimedia and then select the Enable playing 3D content checkbox. However, I don't use Adobe PDF reader, so that's not an option.
I tried an online PDF viewer, which ended in a vague error message:
I have Adobe Reader on some machines in my office. I don't want to download Adobe Reader DC (150MB) on my slow home DSL line. I'll try it tomorrow.
I wasn't quite sure that was what you were doing. I was also hoping for a version number, but that might have been too much to ask. adiSo far, it has been viewable by your unspecified version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Acrobat Reader 9.
There seems to be a growing list of PDF viewers that allegedly support
3D, but fail to view the file. You might have problems sending such a file to clients.-- Jeff Liebermann jeffl@cruzio.com 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558
Add my Chromebook using the built in PDF viewer in the Chrome browser (version 66.0.3359.203) to the list of viewers that don't work. Here's a screen dump of what appeared. The yellow box doesn't move, can't be centered, and has no button to enable 3D. This might be because the built in viewer is fairly basic and doesn't do 3D. There are some PDF plugins available that I'll try as time permits.
